What We Collect

When you use FanFuel, we collect the following information:

  • Account data — your email address and hashed password when you sign up.
  • YouTube OAuth data — when you connect your YouTube account, we access your channel information and video comments. We never post, modify, or delete anything on your behalf.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the app (pages visited, features used, extractions run) to improve the product.
  • Payment data — billing is handled entirely by RevenueCat and your payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers.

How We Use Your Data

  • Provide and operate the FanFuel service.
  • Analyze your audience comments using AI to generate content ideas, deep dives, and scripts.
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, digests) via Resend.
  • Improve the product based on aggregate usage patterns.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content or comments to train AI models.

Third-Party Services

FanFuel relies on the following third-party services to operate:

  • Supabase — database and authentication.
  • OpenRouter — AI model access for comment analysis and content generation.
  • RevenueCat — subscription and payment management.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • YouTube Data API — fetching channel and comment data with your authorization.

Each service has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

YouTube API Compliance

FanFuel's use of the YouTube Data API complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy. We only read publicly available comments and basic channel metadata. We never post, modify, or delete content on your YouTube account. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only — specifically, authentication session cookies managed by Supabase. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Data Retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Export your data in a portable format.
  • Revoke YouTube API access at any time.
